Before the happenings of the day escape the brain, thought it best to capture a few highlights from day 1 at Good for Nothing. Getting a whole lot of people together at 9am in an East end office on a super sunny Saturday morning doesn’t seem like the grandest idea, but when those people happen to be bright, committed, and charged with energy – it turns out to be a brilliant one.
The whimsical creative space peppered with weak Nescafe and soft chill out beats – saw our Motley Crue take on a design brief from the wonderful organisation known as Food Cycle. Half the group went up to Cambridge to get real-time perspectives and document what goes down, while the rest of us tinkered and mulled about hammering out a plan. At times we seemed to be losing momentum and waning, wholly understandable for a disproportionate amount of left-brainers coupled with some Saturday afternoon restlessness.
Thankfully, with the interventions of some swift moving strategists including Andy from Splendid, we seemed to get our mojo back. The Cambridge crew returned, we mapped out the deliverables and who was going to do what – and now it’s just a matter of putting ideas into action…
