Over 60% of the world population will be living in urban centres in the not too distant future (by 2030). Overcrowdedness, lack of jobs, and a yearning for more personal space may in fact make this projection moot. The question really is a philosophical and subjective one: What is the right way to live? A broadsheet recently cited anonymity, cultural diversity, and opportunities for businesses (perhaps in particular entrepreneurs) as good reasons to be situated in London.
The arguments however, for an against dwelling in a metropolis could be as pithy as to whether you liked the movie Magnolia or not – Some folks do, and some folks don’t.
